"WORLD'S CRAZIEST MAN"
60 IRONMAN TRIATHLONS IN ONE YEAR - AT AGE 60

WILL TURNER

LiveYourBold.com

Our September speaker, Richmond native Will Turner, admits that he has been called "crazy," more times than he can recall - and that's okay with him. .He believes it's the "crazy ones" who can and do change the world.

Will turned 60 this year, and, to push himself, he decided to go for a world record and complete 60 Ironman triathlons during 2018. He calls it his Sixty@60 Quest, and he completed his 36th on August 11th in San Diego.

Will is an accomplished entrepreneur and sales coach who works with sales teams, sales leaders and small business owners to drive double-digit sales growth. He is also a USTA certified triathlon coach, and has been a triathlete and endurance athlete for several decades.

Will founded Dancing Elephants Achievement Group in 2001, and sold his interests in that business in 2009 when he co-founded RefuseOrdinary. His work has taken him to four countries and countless states in the U.S. He is the co-author of the book, Six Secrets of Sales Magnets and has written a number of e-books and over 500 articles on sales, mentoring, productivity and peak performance

OUR HOST

West End Assembly of God

401 N. Parham Road - RIchmond

Our Septmeber host and the 46th different location to host an encorepreneur! event is the West Wend Assembly of God church on North Parham Road. WEAG is one of the largest churches in the Richmond area, with over 3,000 people attending three weekly services.

But the church and its facilities are busy 24/7 in a wide variety of activities. The facility we will be visiting includes a Broadway-style production theater, concert hall, large event venue, fine art gallery, preschool, conference center and more. We will be meeting in the full-sized gymnasium.

One example of the scope of the activities of the facility is to describe the annual prouction of "Christmas Nights", a Richmond holiday tradition enjoyed by 22,000 guests each year. All parts of the WEAG community are involved, as nearly one thousand volunteers come together as cast, crew and support to produce the 18 shows.

Our hosts say "WEAG loves to figuratively tear down walls and bring people together. " To illustrate that, they note that they recently hosted a Global Leadership Summit attended by 500 people and followed it closely with a conference for an online church for gamers.

We will be meeting inside the North Entrance for coffee and networking, and our program will be in the gymasium. Parking could not be easier than in the spacious lots surrounding the building.
