The YWCA RIchmond is seeking applicants for a fellowship to financially support efforts ot a woman who "has a vision for change in her personal life and the drive to make a positive change in the Greater Richmond community".
That sounds like the definition of women encorepreneurs and their interests to us and the YWCA seems to agree.
Since we 1914 the YWCA of Richmond has been awarding the Pat Asch Fellowship for Social Justice in honor of former Executive Director of the YWCA Richmond and Jackson Foundation, Patricia Morris Asch. Consideration for the $17,500 Fellowship is open to any woman who is at least 50 years of age and who resides or works in Richmond City, Chesterfield, Hanover, Henrico, Goochland or Powhatan County.
Rupa Murthy, the Chief Development Officer of the YWCA Richmond introduced the Fellowship at our last meeting and encouraged interested people to download the information packet or contact her with any questions. Applications are due by February 15.
