Jay Markiewicz, a Richmond encorepreneur and the Executive Director of Entrepreneurship Programs at VCU’s Business School, has made an offer to Richmond entrepreneurs that is hard to refuse. VCU is hosting a 2-day interactive workshop on Design Thinking in September that is perfect for encorepreneurs. The program is part of efforts by VCU and the Ford Fund to build entrepreneurial capacity in business and non-profit organizations. Thanks to the generosity of the Ford Fund, the total cost of the course including breakfast, lunch, parking and all materials is only $50.

Deborah Parizek, the Executive Director of the Henry Ford Learning Institute, will lead the course.

RVA was chosen as the inaugural launch point for this newest global offer from the Henry Ford Entrepreneurship Academy (HFEA), a special acknowledgement of our thriving ecosystem that we can all celebrate.  The HFEA offers programs and services in the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and US. More information and to register for the course.
