"Discovering Your Hidden Talents"

Richmond native, David Shuford had a distinguished career as a lawyer and corporate counsel. But today, he identifies himself as a painter, which is as big a surprise to him as it is to his friends. David will tell our December meeting attendees about how he discovered and explored his hidden talent.

After graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill and U.Va. Law School, David pursued a legal career that included a clerkship with Judge Robert Merhige, Jr., 14 years with Mays & Valentine (now part of Troutman Sanders), 9 years as Gary’s partner at LeClair Ryan, and the final 13 years with Dominion Resources, where he primarily oversaw regulatory affairs for the Company.

Our December meeting will be in the downtown Richmond offices of LeClairRyan. The largest of LeClairRyan's 27 offices, the space has a modern and collaborative design that suits the law offices of the future. That design is combined with a traditional downtown location that provides a spectacular view of Virginia's historic and beautiful state capitol.
