Jenni Kirby is an artist and a business woman who was named the "Distinquished Retailer of the Year" by the Retail Mechants Association in 2016. She founded and runs the Crossroads Art Center, a gallery representing over 225 local and regional artists in all types of media.
Like other retailers, Jenni faced unique challenges in 2020. Operating in an industry that saw an estimaed 30% drop in sales, she managed a significant growth during the past year and, as a result, helped hundreds of Richmond artists in their efforts to survive during a pandemic.
Called a "cheerleader" for the arts and for Richmond, Jenni will tell us about how she grew sales during a pandemic, share some tips on how she did it and she will tell us about trends in art and art collecting in the area. We will also take advantage of Zoom to give everyone a brief tour of the exhibits, classroom area, and event space at the Art Center.
Please join us to learn more about the Center and how it serves the community, the private collectors, art consultants, corporate consultants, architects, interior designers as well as business, government and social VIPs of the area.
