"COMEDY IS A WAY TO FIND COMMON GROUND"

Micah “Bam Bamm” White is going to help us shake off the cobwebs caused by sweatpants and ZOOM meetings at the first  in-person gathering of Encorepreneurs in almost a year. He has spent 25 years in the entertainment industry as a stand-up comedian, host, and public speaker. He has performed in countless comedy clubs, colleges & high schools, corporations, and non-profits. He believes that comedy is a way of finding common ground, and thinks that there is no more important time to do that than today.

As his personal motto declares, Micah is “more than a comedian”. He works with businesses though his full-time gig as the Development Director of the Richmond Metropolitan Business League, and he also works in the Richmond community as founder of the non-profit RVA Has Talent. RVA Has Talent creates collaborations between local artists and non-profits in the Greater Richmond area. For instance, the group has developed an initiative that allows inmates at the Richmond City Jail to hone creative abilities and equips them with tools to seek gainful employment after incarceration.
